Wife + Mama
Wife to Adam and Mama to Lexi (and baby boy coming soon!). My little family is so important to me. I've learned over the years that family is complicated, complex AND it is what you make it (<--silver lining). I love capturing all kinds of family dynamics.
Optimist
I've always been an optimist—looking for the silver linings in any situation. I love to cheer you on and give the occasional pep talk. My very favorite thing in the world is connecting with people—driveway fires with neighbors, coffee dates with new connections, craft fairs with friends.
Creative
You'll find me constantly making or DIYing something on my huge, custom table in the teal craft room downstairs. Pinterest is my favorite place to browse. I enjoy sewing, using my Cricut and anything crafty. Old Lady hobbies according to my hubsand 😉
Photographer
My passion for photography runs deep. I was shooting on film for 4H Projects in junior high, then digital for the school yearbook in high school (including my personal, little Sanyo point and shoot camera). I received my first DSLR camera in 2015 and immediately learned manual mode (and started my Instagram to post my photos).
As a mama,
I get it. Photo sessions can be hectic, and you are busy enough with life. Let me take care of the details and smiles. You deserve beautiful photos with the family that makes you laugh (and cry). I'll make it easy and fun!
