I LOVE Chick-fil-a chicken nuggets! I love the breading and the chicken. BUT what I really love is making chicken nuggets at home—by the batch. My husband found a baked chicken nugget recipe on Pinterest (he doesn’t usually pin anything but sends them to me). I took a look at the ingredient list and thought, “Gosh! This looks easy enough to try.” I am here to tell you that they are easy to make and I know you can do it too.
The chicken nuggets turned out great and we both couldn’t get enough of them. After making the recipe exactly the first time or two, I have tweaked it to make it my own. I enjoy making these and the prep and baking time are totally doable. I set up my “station” and this last time I made a game out of trying to prep all the chicken and get them on the pan before the oven signaled it finished preheating.
I have created an infographic to show how simple it is to create these delicious chicken nuggets. (Also, feel free to save it for later by pinning it!)
The Chicken Nuggets Baking Process
Baked chicken nuggets with a side of vegetables or cheesy pasta is now a staple meal in my house. I probably bake chicken nuggets once a week and double the recipe to make 2 baking sheets worth of nuggets for dinner and for leftovers during the week.
Tips:
- If you own kitchen shears, use those instead of a knife to cut your chicken
- Set up your workstation before you get your hands covered in raw chicken

The Challenge
I challenge you to try making these chicken nuggets next time you buy chicken breasts (and don’t forget to add breadcrumbs on your grocery list!) Trust me, you will want to make these again!
Let me know how it goes in the comments below.
