My brother, Colton, and his fiancé, Jessica, are getting married in t-minus 17 days! I cannot believe my little brother is getting married so soon nor that I will gain another wonderful, life-loving sister. I have been able to watch them grow in their relationship through dating, being engaged and planning their big day while hanging out in Ames or various trips to visit family.
Colton asked me if I would like to take pictures of them on central campus at Iowa State University. I jumped at this opportunity to use my new camera and play photographer for the evening. Although they had their engagement photos taken during the summer, Colton wanted to capture his last fall semester at ISU (as he graduates this coming spring) with his wife to be.
It was so easy to take pictures of these two. During the shoot, it was evident that their love is as strong as love can be and the fact that I’m his big sister, there were no awkward moments—just goofy faces and lots of laughs.
They also have a perfect dip-kiss. I think they practice at any chance they get!
Congratulations, Colt & Jess! I pray that God would bless your marriage to the fullest and provide stability through the low and high points.
