Ellie Pauline Stiles was born in the afternoon on May 5 – the day after I posted Brett and Sara’s maternity session here on the blog. She is an absolute doll, so precious and tiny. I can see the love they have for her as they hold her.
Of course, when Sara asked me to take Ellie’s newborn photos, I could not turn down the opportunity to see her again. Through my research on newborn sessions, most people said to keep the room warm as newborns do not like being cold. Ellie is not most babies—she gets too hot and does not want to be swaddled.
Her eyes were open the entire session. She also could not get enough of looking outside or at the camera or at her parents. Sara tried to get her to fall asleep and nothing worked. But I loved her big, beautiful, blue eyes.
